Rex NseobongJames Rodriguez is available for transfer this summer and Gunners are showing the most interest of any team in the Los Blancos outcast, according to reports in Spain. Colombia international is surplus to requirements under Zizou at Real Madrid, having played only 14 games in all tournaments this campaign and scoring just once.
Along with Gareth Bale, James was left out of the squad to take on Man City in the second leg of their UCL last 16 ties on Friday night, in a clear indication that he is no longer needed by La Liga giants.
Super agent Jorge Mendes is trying to engineer a move for Rodriguez, with PSG and Atletico Madrid possible clubs, but it is the Gunners that has shown the most interest in signing him.
Gunners, and many other clubs, were interested in the Colombian playmaker last summer but he was less willing to consider a move than he is now, while Spanish giants are very keen to get rid of him. The 29-year-old playmaker is reportedly available for only £23m this summer, despite Los Blancos spending £63m on him back in 2014.

With his deal expiring in the summer of 2021, Real Madrid are desperate to cash in on him while they can rather than let him leave on a free next year, especially as James is unlikely to feature much at all over the next season. Rodriguez has played only five La Liga games this campaign with his only goal coming back in October.
