Manchester United are ready to go ‘all-in’ for AC Milan target Federico Chiesa having missed out on Jadon Sancho, a report claims.

It is believed that Sancho was United’s main target to reinforce their attacking department this summer, but earlier on Monday Borussia Dortmund director Michael Zorc ended the sage.

“We plan on having Sancho in our team this season, the decision is final. I think that answers all our questions. Last summer we adjusted Jadon’s salary to match the development of his performances. So, in context, we had already extended his contract until 2023 back then.”

According to what is being reported by FiorentinaNews and Football Italia, United are now ready to shift their focus onto Chiesa. The former adds that the 22-year-old can leave for a reasonable amount, but Old Trafford would not be his favourite destination.

The Premier League giants are apparently ready to go ‘all-in’ for the Italy international, with money ‘not a problem’ as they had already put aside a big sum to secure Sancho and Chiesa will be cheaper.

Earlier today, agent and journalist Lorenzo De Santis suggested that Milan are on pole position to land Chiesa this summer – who is valued at €45-50m – as they have made a ‘strong acceleration’.
