Breaking!!!! Roma, Lazio, PSG all chase Manchester United target

If Joshua King thought that his best chance to move to one of the big powerhouses of Europe came and went when his potential move to Manchester United fell through, he will be relieved to read in the media that he could well be one of the most chased players during this summers transfer window.

Back in January, before the global coronavirus pandemic swathed across Europe, King had been linked with a £20million move to Manchester United, the 28-year-old, who has less than a year remaining on his contract with AFC Bournemouth was said to be left devasted when the move collapsed and instead opted to sign Odion Ighalo on loan from Chinese side Shanghai Shenhua.

Manchester United have since moved on to other options, but have kept Joshua King as a potential plan B.

But despite King’s strong connection with Manchester United being his former club, he may well look at other options across the Premier League and Europe and think that a move to one of those clubs could well be quite attractive.

British tabloid newspaper The Sun have reported that ten Premier League clubs would be interested in signing King this summer. Including Newcastle United, Everton and Brighton & Hove Albion.

However, a move to French side Paris Saint-Germain would offer King UEFA Champions League football next season.

France is not King’s only option on the continent either with four Italian Serie A clubs also interested in his signature including Rome rivals Lazio and Roma.

The newspaper claimed that despite King not having long left on his contract, the Cherries will be chasing a fee as high as £25million.

“SunSport understands the Cherries, who were relegated to the Championship, do not want to sell the 28-year-old for less than £25million.”
