Manchester United have finalised a five-man transfer shortlist for the summer window, according to reports.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men sealed a top three finish in the Premier League by defeating Leicester on the final day of the season and remain in the hunt for Europa League success.

United travelled to Germany on Sunday as they prepare to face FC Copenhagen on Monday, the start of the mini-tournament which will conclude this season’s competition.

After recent success in the transfer market, supporters are hoping for another strong transfer window that will cement their title ambitions for next season.

According to the Evening Standard, United have settled on a five-man shortlist, topped by Jadon Sancho. The Borussia Dortmund star remains a priority for Solskjaer but the Bundesliga side have been bullish over their valuation of the 20-year-old, which United view as unrealistic.

Bayern Munich star Kingsley Coman is named as an alternative to Sancho with United open to a loan deal for the Frenchman.

Jack Grealish and Donny van de Beek are also options for United. Finally, the report claims Solskjaer is open to strengthening his defence and Juventus star Mathijs de Ligt remains a long-term target.

The Dutchman was heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford last summer but MEN Sport understood United fully expected the former Ajax star to move elsewhere.
